“Stan, can my children watch you work?”

Absolutely, as a parent of four boys, grandparent of three girls and a retired music and special education teacher, I am comfortable being around children and I enjoy showing them just how their piano works.

Q:
“Stan, are you OK with my dogs? . . . are you allergic to cats?”

Yes, I enjoy dogs and we’re proud owners Diggs and Izzy ( our Cavashon pups born February 2019).

No, I’m not allergic to cats and I enjoy their curiosity!

Q:
“Stan, can you come in the evening, on Saturday or on Sunday?”

Yes, I can. I provide services to many clients in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Plymouth Area

Minnetonka Area

Jane Henderson Piano Studio – Jane is a classmate of mine from Luther College. She is excellent with small children and uses Apple software for fun theory lessons. Hopkins Area

Beth Miller – Minnetonka, St Louis Park and Hopkins

Beth teaches both in client’s homes and in her studio on a gorgeous and well maintained Chickering grand piano.  Her experience includes : 20+ years teaching beginner to intermediate level children and adults, a Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of Minnesota, with an impressive list of teachers and professors.  For traditional lessons with an emphasis on the ability to read music confidently, please inquire at 612-961-4540.

Eden Prairie Area

Brenda B. Ten Cate, Harmonies in the Home – Brenda provides piano lessons in her client’s home. She is a graduate of Concordia College, St. Paul with a major in music piano performance and a member of Minnesota Music Teachers Association. She works full time teaching piano. I service an 60 mile range from my home base in Western area of Plymouth, MN. I work throughout the entire Twin Cities metro area, so call!

I can take care of minor problems in your home.

For most repairs to the finish of your piano that can be done on-site, I recommend calling my friend, John Keane at his shop. Call 952-447-4082. John does restorations to piano finishes, violin and guitar repair and restoration.
